When copying and pasting text into Ballyhoo Commerce from applications such as Microsoft Word a lot of unwanted, potentially invalid, code can be copied across at the same time. This can result in raw code and inconsistent formatting being shown on your website. This is an easily solved problem, please view this instructional video or read the simple instructions further down the page.

You can then format the text using the text-editing toolbar to output your pages exactly as you wish them to look.

Using the text-editing toolbar you can make words bold, italic and underlined exactly as you would when writing a text document. You can make bullet and number lists, align the text and make use of headings that have been defined to match your website.

Users familiar with HTML can do advanced formatting by clicking the HTML button to edit the code directly.

You can clear any formatting by highlighting the text and clicking the remove formatting button.

Using this process each and every time you paste text will ensure consistency throughout your website and, most of all, prevent errors in the pages.
