Devon & Cornwall Police Federation – Exeter Web Design
The Devon and Cornwall Police Federation, a customer of ours for some years, wanted to redesign their existing Ballyhoo website to make it fresh and modern.
The new design combines beautiful shots of the Devon and Cornwall area with clear and simple graphics creating a bright and attractive website.
Their previous website was built on the Joomla content management system which allowed the Police Federation to update the content of the website as and when they wished. They wanted to continue using this system due to the independence it gave them so we simply upgraded them to the newest version of the software, Joomla 1.5.15.
It was also requested that police officers and staff wanting to use the site would have to log in to see exclusive content – a simple extension of Joomla. They also wanted to display the RSS feed of the Police Oracle website to keep their users up to date with all the latest news. We implemented this as a scrolling news feed above the main navigation.
