Essex Police Federation have recently started adding content to this content managed website we developed for them last year. The website aims to keep Police Officers in Essex up-to-date with the latest developments in their area as well as provide a source of information and advice relating to their profession.

Content management is ideal when frequent additions to a website are likely. Content management systems (CMS) offer a facility to add new pages to the site without the need for web development experience or a knowledge of code such as HTML. New articles and pages can be added in minutes and the structure of the site can be modified just as easily. When new owners acquired Norwood House, they wanted a new website to showcase the many fantastic features of the hotel, especially their stylish rooms and delicious dishes.

As the hotel has frequent seasonal and special promotions, Ballyhoo created custom icons to easily identify these occasions (seen above).

Working from an existing website, Ballyhoo optimised the site by creating a tableless design and also used CSS to create consistent styling throughout the site. This has aided several further updates to the Norwood House Hotel website.

With a large volume of content on the site, the categories needed to be easily navigable. Ballyhoo created an attractive and clear menu for prospective clients to easily find the service they required. The site also links to a third party site where clients can enter a unique number to view details of their case and the progress thereof.

To allow clients to easily find the LG Williams and Prichard offices a Google map of their location was integrated into the site. Clients can make full use of Google Maps features such as getting directions to or from the office location.

The demaskas.co.uk website is simply presented and easily navigable which allows prospective customers to make informed decisions about deMaskas’ products.

SID approached Ballyhoo for a brochure website to advertise their services and allow patients to book appointments online.

The online form allows patients to state when they are available for appointments, specify which treatment they require, add any comments they feel necessary and leave their personal details. They can then have the appointment confirmed by a choice of either email, telephone or mobile phone.

Once potential customers have viewed which dates are available, they can then inquire about reserving time in the apartment using a simple contact form (seen below) on the website whereby they can input the dates required, the number of occupants and their contact details. Bookings will then be confirmed by the site owner.
