As of today, 1st August 2011, Ballyhoo Ltd has become a VAT registered business. This means we will now be applying the current VAT rate of 20% to all of our future invoices.
Our VAT registration number is 115 9873 87.
We have taken care to inform all of our customers about this change to our business but if you were not aware of the change and would like to discuss this with us please feel free to contact us.
Unless otherwise specified, prices on our website are exclusive of VAT and any quotes provided before our registration date of 1st August 2011 are now VAT applicable.
Version 1.9.11 of Ballyhoo Commerce is now available for upgrades and new e-commerce projects.
As usual, this release of Ballyhoo Commerce includes minor bug fixes to the e-commerce system and a number of improvements and new features including currency choice, a new language option, SEO improvements and a brand new templating system.
On the 26th May 2011 the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) issued new rules about the use of cookies and similar technologies on websites for the storage of information.
This new law is intended to increase the level of protection internet users have over their privacy and will be enforced over a period of one year.
We’ve just reached a business milestone – invoice number 1000!
To celebrate this landmark we decided that our thousandth invoice would get a 10% discount – no matter the client or item invoiced.

Ballyhoo Refresh is a simple content management system that has been specially developed by us to fill a gap in the market. Refresh offers many of the features you would expect in a full-featured content management system, just without a separate administration area.
Version 1.1 is the first upgrade of the system and introduces a few minor improvements and additions to our no-fuss CMS.
