Welcome to Ballyhoo Limited.
Web development and e-commerce specialists.

When we recently integrated Ballyhoo Commerce, our e-commerce software, with Google Checkout, we had to overcome a few issues that we discovered to be commonplace during integration.

We hope that sharing our experiences with this integration will benefit others.

Initial Error Message

If you encounter the following vague error message when directing a user to Google Checkout:

“Oops! (Example Company) has sent Google a shopping cart with errors in it. We’ll contact them to ask that they fix this problem. As this could be a temporary issue, you can go back in your browser to try checking out again.”

Released today is Ballyhoo Commerce Version 1.9.2. Progressing from previous updates, 1.9.2 features a number of minor improvements on functionality and ease of use.

Ballyhoo Commerce Version 1.9 has now been released and offers many improvements, as well as minor bug-fixes, on previous versions including RSS Feeds, Canonicalisation and Multiple Payment Gateways. Our biggest improvement is the ability to select product variations and add products to the shopping basket from the category page – making it easier for customers to choose what they want and therefore increase the value of your e-commerce transactions.

Most people shopping on the internet are out to get the best price they can for the product or service they are interested in. You can make sure they seriously think about choosing you by making use of discount codes. Everybody loves a bargain, so make your website stand out from the crowd.
