Google have announced that throughout 2010 they will be phasing out support for their Google Apps suite of services in Internet Explorer 6. This means by the end of 2010, services such as Google Mail, Google Calendar and Google Docs (services we have set up for some of our clients) will run slowly or not at all in Internet Explorer 6.

An SSL Certificate is an internet security technique that encrypts sensitive information sent between your customer’s web browser and your website. Only recognised certificate authorities, such as GlobalSign and Thawte, can issue an SSL certificate. This is then unique to your website and will be verified by your customer’s web browser each time your website is accessed. Evidence of an SSL Certificate on a website is characterised by the locked padlock symbol in the address bar or bottom right of a web browser.
