Welcome to Ballyhoo Limited.
Web development and e-commerce specialists.

I’ve been asked by a few people in recent weeks how I think the introduction of the iPad will change the way we design web sites. Whether I’ll be buying an iPad or not, and whether it takes off or not, the truth is it’s unlikely to affect the way we design our sites for a number of reasons.

Some of our customers often experience trouble uploading files such as PDFs to their content managed websites. We have found that the most common cause is incorrectly named files, something which is very easy to rectify.

Does your website look a little outdated? Have you changed your brand? Are there any new features you want on your website? If you’ve had your website for a few years it could be time you thought about a re-design.

We are offering all existing Ballyhoo customers the chance to save money and get their website re-designed at a discounted price.

In the Order Manager section of the Ballyhoo Commerce admin area you will see comments beside each order. These can be as simple as ‘Payment Accepted’ to more complex comments which we will cover in detail in this article.

Google Phase Out Support For Internet Explorer 6

Google have announced that throughout 2010 they will be phasing out support for their Google Apps suite of services in Internet Explorer 6. This means by the end of 2010, services such as Google Mail, Google Calendar and Google Docs (services we have set up for some of our clients) will run slowly or not at all in Internet Explorer 6.
